  • Predictive Validity refers to a measurements ability to predict scores on another related measurement
  • The ACT and SAT are prime examples of measures that purport to have high predictive validity with college G.P.A.
  • IOW: if higher scores on the SAT are positively correlated with higher G.P.A.’s and vice versa, then the SAT is said to have predictive validity
