Parallel Forms Reliability
- Parallel forms reliability refers to the administration of two alternate forms of the same measurement device and then comparing the scores.
- A correlation between the two forms is computed just as in the test-retest method.
- Eliminates the problem of memory effect
- Can address a wider array of sampling of the entire domain that the test-retest method
- But, requires additional work to develop two measurement devices
