- CEEB Scores were developed by the College Entrance Examination Board for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- Because z-scores can be positive or negative, z was multiplied by 100 or 500 points was added.
CEEB = 100z + 500</p align = “center”>
- This resulted in a CEEB Score mean of 500 and a standard deviation of 100.
- SAT scores are now compared to the standardized scores of the 1941 test group, resulting in a relatively normal distribution that is comparable across years.
