10: Percentile Rank: Scores That Fall at or Below

Percentile Rank

Percentile Rank = Percentage of scores falling at or below a specific score

Examples:

For score 98, 20 of 20 people scored at or lower 20/20 = 1.0 or 100%

For score 70, 5 of 20 people score at or lower 5/20 = .25 or 25%

Notice that the same scores receive the same percentile rank
