02 – Standard Scores
STANDARD SCORES
- There are several different methods used as measurements for distributions that fall on a normal curve
- These measurements are called standard scores because no matter what the distribution size or the initial measurement used, the standard scores will always be the same
- Standard Scores (among others) include:
- Standard Deviations
- z-scores
- T-scores
- CEEB Scores
- NCE Scores
- Stanines
- Wechsler’s subscales and Deviation IQ’s
