This online text-based course introduces the learner to professional ethics through the lens of positive psychology. Based on a peer-reviewed article written by experts in the field of positive psychology, this course will provide an overview of ethical decision making and ethical behaviors. Includes a discussion of values, strengths, and principles; application of ethical guidelines; a step-by-step guide to resolving ethical dilemmas; and a series of ethical case examples and discussion.

Course Objectives (Learning Outcomes): By successfully completing this course, the learner will be able to:

1. Provide an overview of values, strengths, and principles as they relate to ethics in the practice of positive psychology
2. Discuss the application of ethical guidelines in practice, including those related to well-being, power differentials, use of strengths, and resilience
3. Apply ethical guidelines to case examples
