I’m a clinical psychologist, professor, and media psychologist with a focus on making psychology clear, practical, and relevant to everyday life.
I teach in the APA-accredited PsyD program at Antioch University Seattle and direct the Positive Psychology and Technology Lab (PsyTech), where we explore how media, technology, and innovation are shaping mental health, well-being, and human connection.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked to make psychology accessible to a broad audience. I’m the founder of AllPsych.com, a long-standing resource used by students, professionals, and anyone interested in understanding psychology and applying it to real life.
My work is grounded in a solution-focused approach, with an emphasis on helping people move away from ill-being and toward well-being in meaningful, practical ways.
I co-authored The Strength-Based Clinical Supervision Workbook (Routledge) and currently serve in leadership roles with the American Psychological Association Division 46, focused on the evolving role of media and technology in our lives.
